Several years ago, I decided to enrol in an ESL certification course at TEFL International as a means of working and traveling in China. It could just as easily have been Malaysia or Japan; even Peru or Thailand. In my case, I’d fallen in love with China. With the sight of the Great Wall. The mix of Old and New in Shanghai. The fascinating East-West of Hong Kong. I was hooked. I had to go back. After looking into the procedure for gaining ESL certification in the overcrowded school district of Los Angeles, I opted for a training program that would be quicker and far more simplified.
