Much of the city's Nightlife evolves around Mylos an old windmill that has been converted to a complex of clubs and restaurants. All of Thessaloniki's best bars and clubs shut down during summers. Some immediately reopen branches along a section of the road leading east along the coast, about a mile before the airport.
