Davao is the place to get a variety of ethnic arts and crafts from hand-woven cloth in bright colors and patterns like the t'nalak and dagmay weaves which are also made into shoes, bags, purses, accessories and decor items to beaded T'boli ornaments; colourful Muslim fabrics and clothing (malong) and exquisite brassware and shell-craft.

Collectors and souvenir-hunters have a lot to discover in the many tribal villages and department stores. Aside from traditional designs, Davao's artisans fashion ceramics, woodcraft, and jewellery and home accessories into unique contemporary adaptations.
