Spain Destinations
Important Towns
There are four different tourist sites, in Spain each serving a different purpose, they are as follows:

Barcelona:
Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, the city of constant renewal is
located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea and is bounded by the
Collserola ridge and rivers Besos and Llobregat. It is the most cosmopolitan
and economically active city of Spain and follows the latest international
tendencies.
Of course, Barcelona has an old history, and there are monuments of
Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance periods or still before, but most
characteristic is what has been built during the last, say, 100 years.
Barcelona has been a center of Modernist architecture and is distinguished
especially by the works of genial Antoni Gaudi, who together with his great
contemporaries gave new and exciting looks to it, but has remained since
then at the top of modernity.

Madrid:
Madrid is the capital of Spain and is located in the geographic center
of the Iberian Peninsula. Its highlights include the historic center
that dates back to the Hapsburg Empire and distinguished,
world-renowned art museums, including the Prado, Reina Sofia,
and Thyssen-Bornemiza.
The city has a rich cultural heritage and is also a lively metropolis
and scene of renewed artistic vitality which can be experienced in its
variety of food, tapas bars, dance shows, opera house, music concerts,
outdoor parks, jazz clubs, soccer matches, ethnic neighborhoods, and
contemporary theater and cinema.

Seville:
Seville is the capital and largest city of the region of Andalusia, in the South
of Spain. Possibly one of Europe's most beautiful and exuberant cities, that has
captivated visitors for centuries with its rich history and folkloric tradition
that continues to permeate daily Sevillano life. Legend has it that Seville was
founded by the famous Hercules, and this city also gave life to the legendary
figure of Don Juan, offered a nearby port from which Columbus sailed to discover
the New World, and produced such notable characters as Carmen and Figaro.
Rich in the traditions of flamenco, bullfighting, colorful fiestas, and typical
Andalusian cuisine, one can literally soak in the Spanish culture while visiting
Seville. The Sevillano people take tremendous pride in their history and traditions
of the past, and keep such traditions alive through a very lively, socially-active
and festive culture. The captivating city center is a maze of narrow cobblestone
streets leading into quaint plazas, lively tapas bars and bodegas, and fantastic
architectural monuments demonstrating the heavy Moorish influence of the past.
The enchanting river Guadalquivir runs through the city and provides an excellent
spot for evening "paseos", river-front dining and exciting nightlife.
Seville is undoubtedly a city of breathtaking beauty, vibrant ambience and the most
festive and lively of cultures. So whatever your purpose, just being out and about
on a warm night in Seville will be a truly exciting and unforgettable experience!

Valencia:
The region of Valencia is located in the east of Spain and is well known for
its ceramics, fans and wicker-work. The Valencian coast comprises many stunning
resorts with golden beaches and towns full of history. The region has adopted
the nickname 'the bread-basket of Spain'. Valencia is a region rich in history
and its popular coastal resorts make an excellent holiday destination.
Valencia is a vibrant city that offers a wealth of plazas and gardens in which
to rest, a wide variety of historical buildings to explore, dotted around the
city and blending in with the modern constructions and the added bonus of a
thriving port, marina and long beaches
