Choose your diversion.

NightLife in France

When darkness falls, the City of Light lives up to its name -- the monuments and bridges are illuminated, and the glow of old - fashioned and modern street lamps, the blaze of sidewalk-cafe windows, and the glare of neon signs flood the avenues and boulevards. Parisians start the serious part of their evenings as Anglos stretch, yawn, and announce it's time for bed. Once the workday is over, most people go to a cafe to meet with friends over a drink and perhaps a meal; then they may head home or proceed to a restaurant or the theater; and much later, they may show up at a bar or a dance club.

Night Life in Italy

Ah!! Night life in Italy. It‘s sure to have something for everyone: discos, nightclubs and bars of all kinds and in all districts of the city strive to attract people looking to have a good time and hoping to enjoy the night. The restaurants and coffee shops through all Italy will invariably have tables in the outside, a way to enjoy the colorful street theatre and the wonderful Italian weather. The concerts outdoors in summer are organized by the Opera House and the academy of Santa Cecilia; also there are theatre representations outdoors in the baths of Caracalla. Bars serve drinks, you’ll see people chatting sometimes nursing the same glass of wine or beer for hours. Some prefer hot chocolate; children are usually seen enjoying a gelato or bite-sized pizza.

Nightlife in South Korea

Korea has many night-time activities and attracts people interested in a night life scene. Many of the areas also have a thriving scene during daylight hours for shopping or other activities, but the night life scene is really very different. Most restaurants and bars are required to down shutters at midnight. However, certain hotels and designated "tourist" clubs can stay open later, and some clubs remain open illegally, posting sentries with cell phones outside to unlock the doors for late night partiers. Areas where large groups of foreigners hang out are sometimes targeted for violence. Be aware of your surroundings, and try to stay in groups of friends and enjoy yourself.

NightLife in Spain

Music and dance, food and drink, if anyone knows how to have fun, it’s the Spanish. That and the need to avoid the daytime heat, means the locals literally grow up in the streets at night. And any excuse to get them back out on them – from demonstration to shopping to festival – will do it. So foreigners living in Spain find they spend a lot of their time drinking, dancing and talking the night away with the locals in ‘el marche”, going from bar to bar. From posh, world-renown nightclub to jazz club, from gypsy watering hole to festival tent, from street party to football fan filled cafeteria, you may find yourself wondering why you’re going down when the sun’s coming up. And that’s on a weekday!

Nightlife in Thailand

Although by law, all bars and clubs are supposed to close at 1 or 2 am (2 am for places offering dance floors and live music), the reality, however, is quite different, as any visitor to the city will quickly find out. While most of the bars in areas like Patpong actually do close at 2 am, the real action moves to late-night discos in the area and to renowned bars like 'the Thermae,' where partying continues till daybreak and often even through out the next day for those still on their feet.

NightLife in Vietnam

You’re never too far from a game of pool and a vodka & Red Bull, even in the mountains of Sapa (where by the way there’s also an English pub), all cities on the tourist trail have bars catering to foreigners. A standard night out in the Karaoke bars would be entertaining with a fusion of Vietnamese and English songs. There is a 12 am curfew that is officially enforced, which might be abandoned in the near future. The HCMC and Nha Trang are the liveliest cities for after-dark adventures, with masses of neon-lit bars and clubs. Hanoi is more relaxed, with many travellers spending their evenings strolling around Hoan Kiem Lake or hanging out at a local bia hoi.

Nightlife in Brazil

You've come to the right place. There are lots of things the Brazilians do well, but partying is right at the top of the list. Carnaval might be an annual affair but there's always something going on and it's usually loud, lively and lots of fun. If you're looking for a good time in Brazil just follow the music.

Nightlife in Philippines

The choice of entertainment in Philippines displays the Filipino's affinity for music. 5-star hotels offer everything from high-tech discos to lavish cultural songs and dances, as well as superb pop singers and performers, trios, show bands and classical string ensembles. On most evenings there are cultural performances by local artists or foreign groups at the many other venues for the performing arts.

Free concerts are offered by several parks every week, and occasionally by banks and other corporations. The Philippines also have some unusual musical groups like the Pangkat Kawayan bamboo orchestra, which uses bamboo musical instruments, and the Rondalla group which uses tiny guitars like the ukelele. Casinos are located in Cebu, Davao, Ilocos Norte, Iloilo, Manila, Pampanga and Zamboanga.

Nightlife in Taiwan

Taiwan is a strange meshing of Western and Asian cultures. Some you will find familiar, others almost unfathomable. There are numerous recreational outlets that you won’t find else where.

People usually spend their evenings in the Karaoke Clubs. Waiting lists for rooms can sometimes be as much as an hour on weekends. These clubs are arranged into rooms of various sizes where friends can gather to sing songs with microphones in front of a big screen TV, play drinking games, eat food, and play cards. If you like to sing English songs of the 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s, or you have an urge to sing songs by the Carpenters, Mariah Carey, or the Bee Gees, this is the place for you. All the most popular Chinese songs of the day are there for singing. This can be a great way to practice your Chinese, too.

Nightlife in Greece

Greece is famous for its nightlife. Greeks are party lovers, and big adepts of music, drinks and having fun among friends. The animation doesn’t start before 10 or 11 pm and ends only with the first rays of sun or even later.

NightLife in Japan

An outstanding facet of modern Japanese recreation, particularly in urban concentrations like Tokyo and Kyoto, nightlife as a function of physical configuration and social landscape provides an interesting point of reference in the association between space and recreation. Tokyo’s Roppongi district and the Kabuki-cho area of Shinjuku are world-famous for their vibrant nightlife, surrounding everything from chic bars, karaoke, and live-music dance clubs to small-eats izakaya pubs and hole-in-the-wall drinking establishments. Kyoto, likewise, is rife with diverse bars and clubs in its Pontocho and Kiyamachi districts, attracting both Japanese and foreigners alike. Even the esoteric Buddhist headquarters of Koyasan is not without the requisite bars holding bottles for its regular patrons.
